  "We've been staying at Yellow House for many, many years - including our wedding night 28 years ago!. The place really has not changed over the years, even with the area around it growing rapidly. Even the cost of staying is a bargain compared to other B&Bs or hotels. The rooms are comfortable, with..." all the basics you would find in a bed & breakfast. Much of the furniture is antique and the decor is old school farm country - really very, very charming. The owners, Patty and Carl, were very friendly and the manager, Janet, is the best. During our recent three 3 day stay we did not have an opportunity for breakfast - but in the past it has always been pastry, bread, coffee, etc. This "B&B" is actually above a great restuarant that is open for lunch and dinner. The food has been consistent over the years - not overly fancy but flavorful. This past trip we enjoyed their French Onion and Snapper soups, as well as some outstanding corn and crab fritters.   "I live in the area but never stayed here before. My boyfriend was coming to visit when i came home from college. First off it was so set back from the highway it was a quiet open place to relax. I arrived friday afternoon it was so hot out the lady at the front desk checked me in very quickly. Also..." she was very nice recommending places to eat, and asking me if i needed anything before i left. I loved how we could drive up right to the room door in 119. The room was a lot bigger then i thought more then enough space to walk around plus a sitting area along with our king size bed. The room was so clean, probably cleaner then i thought it would be! Not to mention the amenities for the price were great! we had a flat screen tv micro, fridge, plus included breakfast and wifi. staff was friendly and they said they were busy that night but i didnt here a thing in my room it was such a great relaxing stay!
