  "We stayed here 2 nights on a Groupon deal. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night. Breakfast was included, but you had to sign up the day before for what time you would be eating- I can NOT eat that way, so I can't review breakfast. They do serve dinner nightly, but the food looks to be gourme..."t and expensive. The Lodge is huge, and beautifully decorated. Very well maintained. Employees always walking around straightening up. There are quite a few common areas with comfy couches/chairs, multiple fire places and lots of nice outdoor seating. There is a bar on site and a pool table. In the great rooms, you can find books and board games. Everyday they serve tea, cookies and fruit. The lodge states NO outside alcohol allowed, you must purchase from them onsite. Check in was easy and the girl at the desk was very nice. We stayed in a luxury suite #303. Our room was was beautiful with a mini fridge, mini couch, and a corner Jacuzzi tub (big enough for 2).   "My boyfriend purchased a weekend stay at Gateway Lodge for my birthday (May 3rd- 5th). We stayed in a suite, which was wonderful. King size bed, jacuzzi tub, nice large bathroom with a double sink, a flat screen TV, and a wonderful private balcony with two rocking chairs. We started off our sta..."y with dinner at the restaurant within the lodge. The food was ok the first night. I had the special which was a blackened tilapia with crab meat, veggies, and rice. My boyfriend ordered the steak which was a little too marblized for our liking. But, overall the dinner wasn't bad. The service was really good. As dessert approached, I had been eyeing up the bananna's foster.... As the waiter came back to ask if we would like dessert, he told us that the banana's were not ripe so they weren't offering it.
