"My fiancé and I stayed in the Imboden room, while my parents stayed in the back room 6 (don't remember the name). The Inn itself has a very historic feel and is in a quiet area. Breakfasts were decadent, but awesome. We did not have dinner here, but that looked good as well. The owner is really n..."ice and accommodating - we were coming in late and looking for a bar to have a drinks and he offered to leave a 6 pack or bottle of wine for us. My parents bed broke in the middle of the night (just fell the to floor at 5am!). The owner apologized and took the night off the bill, which was very nice and consistent with the level of service you would expect from an Inn like this.
My only complaint would be that a woman answered the phone when I called prior to getting there - I had some basic questions regarding the battle field and visitors center - and could not answer my questions, nor did she attempt to find out. "Stayed one night at the Cashtown Inn on Thursday, June 13th. We were booked in the AP Hill room, and my in-laws stayed in the Imboden room. The Inn just exudes history... walking in you can easily envision what happened here 150 years ago. Jack, Maria and their staff were very friendly, helpful an..."d accomodating throughout our stay, checking in with us to see if we needed anything, making conversation and giving us recommendations on things to do and places to go throughout our visit. We slept great and didn't have any ghostly visitors throughout the night, but I did see one of the candlesticks on the window sill inexplicably wobble by itself in the morning after I woke. Breakfast was delicious... we didn't have dinner here this trip, but have eaten in the dining room on previous trips and would definately recommend. All in all an outstanding experience. We'll be back!

"I have been a patron of the Cashtown Inn's restaurant since 1986 and have brought or sent many friends and business associates to the Inn in as many years. They were also the venue for my wedding reception. Owning a local business myself, I often observe other establishments' customer service skills..." and have always been impressed by the graciousness and genuineness of the Inn's staff. Their menue has always been refined, well prepared, and presented and yet the atmosphere is comfortable enough that my 11 yr. old daughter has asked me to also mention how much she enjoys their club sandwiches and stopping by on Halloween for Trick or Treat.
I'm sure that anyone staying here will have a great experience.
