The night before the wedding about twenty of us stayed over, all of the rooms were beautiful, clean and all had big showers or jacuzzi baths. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice. On the big day the team guided us through the day, told us where we should be and when and kept us calm!!! The room looked beautiful, they dressed the venue really well and everyone has said how lovely the food was both in the day and the evening buffet. We had the resident dj who was great, played something for everyone.   "The Daintry is an absolutely lovely B&B in Leek. We stayed for one night only as we visited Alton Towers Theme Park. It's easy to find and the location is very quiet.   "Deceptively large hotel. From the road it does not look that big, but when you go into the car park at the back the true size of the place becomes apparent. I have stayed there several times whilst on business in the area. each time I have had a room above the function room. They do warn that those ..."particular rooms may be noisy if there is a function taking place, however no functions were on during my visits. Rooms are very pleasant and clean, showers were large, but electric shower unit meant not a huge volume of water. Breakfast is good. Evening meals consisted of typical pub food (burgers etc) or a carvery. I can recommend the carvery, it was delicious. Pub is popular and a pleasant place to have a drink, which is just as well, as there is nothing else close by. Nice comfortable place to stay, would happily go back again. " More >
