Mine host Ian was attentive and helpful (he found us a way to get to the Farnes by bus) and served a sumptuous breakfast, included in the tariff. The walks on the wall and by the river, were very close. The sandy beach was about 10 minutes walk away. The town centre was just around the corner. I..." had read the reviews and I was expecting a comfortable, well equipped apartment. I was pleased to find that it was as good as the description. The owner, John Haswell, is a very pleasant man, very helpful and full of local knowledge and advice, but not "pushy". He lives in the flat above, I think the apartment is more suited for adults.   "had a great time at this caravan park in such a wonderful surrounding.. we found it to be a lovely clean place our caravan was spotless and we had everything we needed ..yes the shop and bars ect were expensive but you have to expect that its the same pretty much in all holidays like this .. holyisl..."and on its doorstep was a plus for us fantastic place to visit ..seahouses also a little drive away is also worth a visit ..but as for the holiday park the only fault i had was all the speed humps yes they are there for a reason but i just felt there didnt need to be as many it dosnt do much for your car having to go over them each time you want to leave.. but all in all fab and would recommend..
