The hotel also has the benefit of the pool and spa for any one not wishing to play golf.I have been organising an annual golf trip for 10 years, always going to different venues,but the group were unanimous in the view that Manor of Groves was the best yet. We were not disappointed, as she also guided us through everything with attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure for us to be married in the Library by the Registrar. Again, very professional but guided through in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The bridal suite was beautiful - huge, and with wonderful views of the lovely gardens and golf course.   "We stayed at The Manor of Groves from Sun 5th to Mon 6th of May for a golfing trip come birthday for my wife. The hotel was wonderful. We had a lovely room (room 17) overlooking part of the golf course. Very clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge with a double bath and separate shower. We playe..."d golf on our arrival but unfortunately it was extremely overbooked taking us 5 hours 30 minutes to play 1round. The course is good but because of the time taken the flow in your game just goes. They really need to sort that problem out. After the game we went to the health club. We had a wonderful go in the huge pool and in the Jacuzzi. The sauna was good too. The evening meal was wonderful. The staff very attentive and the service great. After our meal we sat in the bar and then retired to bed. The next day I went for another swim in the warm pool before breakfast. Breakfast was a buffet style with full English or cereals, fruits, juices....the normal fair and it was lovely. All in all... " More >
