  "Our first trip to Southwold for Spring 2013 was last Sunday 19th May. We did the usual stroll along the prom, gazed around some shops, and watched the Mayor's parade. Looking around for a roast Sunday lunch we thought we'd try the Crown. It wasn't super-busy, but was by no means empty. Table service was prompt and polite, and I enjoyed a fresh pint of Adnams as we waited for our roast beef and roast pork lunches to arrive. My beef was cooked perfectly, roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding were crispy, and the vegetables were just right too. Overall a very enjoyable Sunday lunch in the heart of Southwold.
