  "We visited "The Spotted" for a second time today and once again had a lovely lunch. The Turkey from the carvery was delicious as were the vegetables. The hubby had Steak and ale pie which he thought was great. I have read reviews about unfriendly and rude staff but I have to disagree. Both times ..."we had fantastic service from very friendly and helpful staff. If I had one little tip for them it would be to get rid of the dirty chair in the entrance, it nearly stopped us from entering the pub on our first visit. A lovely local pub with wholesome fare. Plenty for people on a diet too !!! Overlooked by many pubs and restaurants. I just knocked off 1 star because of the dirty chair . " More >
