"The town of Coba - with its ruins, many cenotes, and increasing efforts to develop interesting activities beyond the ruins - is definitely worth an overnight stay. And the place to stay is Hotel Sac-Be. Great value in a small, family-run hotel. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, and owners Mo..."desto and Reina also have an excellent restaurant on the second floor with a nice view of the town. Lots of interesting people staying there - some archeologists. Fantastic value- rooms are $30, $40 with air-conditioning. A great base for exploring the area. Don't stay here though if you are easily awoken by chickens. They didn't bother me, but the owners asked me to put this in the review!

The type of design you would see in an interior design magazine. Not overly functional though with water splashing everywhere when you take a shower.
There was some very loud building wotk going on when we were there during dayligjt hours - apparently they are expanding their gardens.
At night the exterior of the building becomes a very...

"We found the room to be fine. It was a nice pueblito atmosphere and pretty quiet The nearby roosters didn't amount to much. We enjoyed the fresh food at the restaurant upstairs and ate both lunch and dinner there.
