  "After three days of the city and its ways, we hired a driver for the day and went to the foothills of the highest mountain in North Africa, Jbel Toubkal. The roads are clear and trouble free. Our driver observed the strict speed limits which was just as well, as we passed three speed camera check..."points. The journey is just over and hour. On arrival at the Kasbah, there is a short but fairly steep walk to the building. Everything is carried up on mules - I believe that you can be too. You do have to run the gauntlet of the hawkers but once through the gate of the Kasbah, true peace and tranquility takes over - that's after being ordered to take a date,dip it into the milk and eat - and use the toilet - and wash my hands in rosé water. We sat on the terrace and had lunch which wasn't great at 300 dirhams 'each' but it was made up for by the cheeky grinned service of the Berber hosts.
