We had no needs that weren't already met, and we were confident that if we had to make a phone call to the proprietor; he would be available to us...". The room we stayed in, (room #4) was beautiful and had an en suite bathroom (score!). The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. There was 2 other couples there at the time we were and we barely even heard them, We took the advice of the letter with our room key and walked to our dinner at Vine Street, which was ridiculously delicious and would be worth the 90 minute drive and 10 minutes on the ferry to go back just for the mussels and hand cut fries. The next morning we enjoyed some of the breakfast, which was laid out very nicely, and coffee was good ( my only criticism there, no half and half- somehow I managed though).   "The pridwin.. Where do I begin..? I have been coming to this place since it opened back in the day. I even worked here as a busgirl as a teenager. For everybody who says it's dated their not wrong, but it's the experience that counts. As you arrive you are greeted by the greatest gift of all the Lo..."ng Island Sound, and the fresh sea air. You then park your car and arrive for check-in. At check-in you used to be greeted by me (too bad your not) but now The Pridwin offers a great program with teens and people in their 20's in the UK. The people are lovely and friendly and will go out of their ways to make your vacation perfect. I read a review here that said nobody helped somebody with their luggage, however I would like to say this is false. Pedro is a worker at the pridwin and is always willing to help us with our luggage and many other workers offer too. As you approach your room the excitement awaits.
