  "We went out west of Abijdan to look at surf spots and Le Pollet was recommended as the place to stay in Sassandra. We arrived and found the hotel comfortable and the staff was very friendly. They helped us get all our stuff up to our room and made sure we were settled in. We went off exploring an..."d came back later in the evening. We decided to try the restaurant. The menu was a bit limited, but that's not unusual in out of the way places. Paul, the chef, attended to us very well and the food was good. That evening the water stopped and was out for the rest of the stay. Apparently, a supply line broke from the local water company. The staff were quick to respond and provide buckets of fresh water for cleaning and flushing - all good! Overall, we had a nice stay at the hotel and the area was very pleasant. One thing that might be addressed is the local guides that are allowed to the enter the hotel grounds. I think it's important that the guides have an opportunity to offer se... " More >
