One restaurant they recommended was a short drive away and the food and service there was very good. Their house has all sorts of baseball photos and artifacts. I recommend it and plan to stay there again. Of course, being a baseball fan is a must. The surrounding area is also worth seeing. We went to the Farmer's museum, Art museum and Fly Creek Cider Mill. Plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Another couple came while we were there. His wife turned it into a surprise birthday party for her husband. He did figure it out as they approached Cooperstown. The breakfast was outstanding (muffins particularly!) and the atmosphere incredibly inviting. The inn has a lot of charm, with beautiful hardwood floors and great photos on the walls. Our room (#2) was very nicely decorated and featured a very relaxing multi-head shower and separate jacuzzi tub. The location is very desirable, too, as it is just a short walk into the village and all of the great attractions. A wonderful place to stay! " More >
