  "When we tried to check into the Durango Super 8 motel, at 1:00 PM, the lady at the desk told us we couldn't check in until 3 PM and she had no clean rooms. When we got to the Toas Super 8, the manager was so helpful and so polite. He checked us in and when I asked if there was a fridge in the room h..."e said he would walk down to the room, with me, and look. He explained how this room had 2 windows and was very sunny and we could see the mountains. When we got to the room, it didn't have a fridge or microwave so he went to another room, got them, and set them up in our room. The bed was SUPER comfortable, had a faux feather comforter and the pillows were good. This motel is an older one but is under new management. They've installed new carpet and painted the walls. It had all the amenities, the usual breakfast but no decaf coffee. The price we paid for this room was very good and we would stay there again. " More >

  "This was a nice place. It was very quiet. We were in the back in a room upstairs. The air conditioning didn't work but we were only staying one night so we didn't report it. This is convenient and right across the street from Walmart and a great coffee shop. "

My husband started with the Caesar salad. It was a large portion with very good flavor. I had the duck confit appetizer. It was abo..."ut 1/2 cup of the most tender, flavorful, moist dark meat, in a light wine sauce, with a puff pastry roll on top. It came with a small side salad. I would have been very happy just having that. For entrees, my husband had the ribeye steak with the best mashed potatoes we've ever had. They had a little sour cream in them, & small pieces of potato. Very creamy & delicious. I had the bouillabaisse. There was shrimp, mussels, at least 3 kinds of fish, & slivered veggies in a light broth that was absolutely delicious. It came with a thick slice of bread with a red pepper spread on top.
