The suite seemed to complement the natural surroundings. It was extremely clean and a great place to relax while watching vervet monkeys along the river. The game drives were superb. We saw the big five quickly. Every game drive seemed to bring a new highlight and culminated in seeing a pack of African Wild Dogs. We also took part in an Elephant Encounter and enjoyed it. The game drives were great and Mike was really going out of his way to show us it all, you can see he has a passion for the bush and not like other game..." rangers just driving around to get the time past- Thank you Mike! What I really appreciated about the Kampama Reserve is that they only allow max two game viewer vehicles per sighting, which makes it alot more special. If you go to Kruger for example, you will always find the game viewers rushing and race to a sigting and push infront of other viewers just to show (their people) and they are not always respecting nature and this will sometimes chase the game go away into a thicker bush away from the people.   "We stayed two nights at KRL. It was an overall great experience. Everything is very organized and the rooms are very comfortable. There's a morning and afternoon/evening safari each day. our guide, Stefan, and tracker, Steven were terrific and committed to us seeing as much as possible. We saw ..."elephants, wildebeest, water buffalo, lions, zebra, hippos, impala and other smaller animals as well. We did not see a leopard, but not from lack of trying. Aside from a slight hiccup at check-in, the service was top tier. The meals were also very good, especially the beef. Would definitely recommend. " More >
