Additionally, our hosts Chris and Bruce proved to be a vast fount of local knowledge and flavor and pointed us toward several restaurants and attractions that proved to be highlights of our trip. The outdoor patio faced Sandia Mountain (around 10,000 feet), which looms as a guardian overlooking the vast desert floor.   "My friend and I stayed two nights at the Chocolate Turtle. French toast was outstanding. We also got great directions, and had a wonderful time out on the patio .. just the right amount of sun with a cool breeze and lots of visits from the birds, rabbits and chipmunks. The hosts were great -- eve..."n advised me on how to "negotiate" for the right rug and instructions on how the rugs were hung at the B&B. I admit I was a little skeptical when they recommended "The Flying Star" for a light dinner our first night ..... but the Mac and Cheese is very tasty and cheap. And the desserts are hmmmmmm! " More >
