  "Just back from our first of 2013 visits to Tall Timber and as usual everything was just as fantastic as the last 6 years were! The weather was nice spring weather with no rain. We had cabin 2, Alder, one of our usual cabins right on the lakefront. The cabin was spotless as always, love the new moose..." comforter set in the queen bedroom! It is always so warm and cozy in the cabins just like home. Tall Timber has great packages available and we always get the "Escape package" which includes the full breakfast and dinner off the fantastic menu which has a great choice and variety of food. You will never leave your table the least bit hungry!! We loved that chicken corn chowder on Fri. night! As always our servers were so friendly and the best, both night and morning. They have a cute gift shop right near the front desk and dining room and we never leave without buying something to remind us of our favorite place. The breakfast TROUT BENEDICT is such a treat (mandatory for my visits) and hubby finally ate delicious ELK STEAK that melted in his mouth! (A bit pricey, but something that "had to be" his belated 60th birthday meal!)
