  "the Meyers Hilltop Farm is everything a comfortable, charming, vintage farm should be and more thanks to the Meyers themselves. I felt like we were truly family visiting~ we felt so welcome and cared for. I showered and sat on the porch swing for hours after my husband and i had had a lovely walk "..." out back in the pasture"...i sat while the crickets started and the cows lowed. I sat while the stars began to peek and blink at me in the dusk. I nearly got a blanket to sleep there but the whole thing was so comforting and cozy that i wanted my husband who i love so much close to me, so i went upstairs into the big soft bed. Can't wait to return and do the Katy Bike Trail, now i will because we can stay at the Meyer's. ;) " More >

  "Not Just a Great Stopover on the Katy Trail"
  "This is a great B&B, we stopped there while traveling the Katy Trail but it's so much more than that. This is a beautiful farmhouse just outside Hermann, you can get there without crossing the bridge into Hermann when you're on the Katy but it's only a 1/2 mile to Hermann from there. Maggie and Eldo..."n were such wonderful hosts, they're so helpful and so pleasant. The grounds are beautiful and full of hummingbirds and a host of songbirds that they feed, Eldon can tell you all about them or you can just enjoy them. We stayed in the Blue Room, a beautifully furnished room that they advertise as a full size bed but I swear it's a Queen size. The bed slept wonderful, the most restful night we had on our trip. Breakfast was delicious and perfect for an active day, I loved the oatmeal pancakes, and the cookies were great, too. Maggie and Eldon are so much fun in the morning, you're guaranteed to be entertained. You will be so glad that you picked Meyer Hilltop Farm for your stay. " More >
