"This was a lovely B&B, very comfortable with a hearty breakfast. Funny enough, I never thought of myself as much of a B&B type person. (Truth be told, it had been almost 20 years since my last stay in one.) The location is what drew me to stay here. There aren’t a lot of hotels in the immediate..." area, and this was where I wanted to be… an easy walk to everything in town. It turned out to be a very nice change from hotel staying, and it was lovely. I had plenty of privacy and it was very nice to have a real breakfast that didn’t involve pouring batter into a waffle iron :-) The breakfasts were delicious. "Walking distance to everything in the charming lakeside town of Excelsior. Historic accommodations to go with the historic town. Rooms are private, clean and quiet. Owners were very hospitable and accommodating. It worked great when we visited as a family but this is a place I look forward to fo..."r a future romantic getaway.

The other guests were right at our pace - funloving, inteligent, and friendly people with reasonable tolerance of other's ideas of a good time. A group of local women gathered for a theatre ev...
