There is ample secure parking space near the garden, and there are two restaurants within a 5-minute walk, one a 2-star Michelin restaurant and the other a small but quite good restaurant with a very friendly proprietor. The hotel is built into a series of old stone buildings. The courtyard is very modern with a lovely garden and pool. Our room was in an atelier. Decor was rather quirky - particularly the pebbled floor in the bath. Staff were all very helpful in pointing our local highlights. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Both very good.
