In fact, some other trekkers came to eat here after hearing raving reviews. My room was also spotless and I had the shower (shared shower in the courtyard) that had warm/hot water - this is rare on the Annapurna Circuit at this time of year as the cloud cover makes it difficult to for the solar panels to get enough sun. The lady that runs Neeru was a delight - she had time to chat the following day before I had to push on to Larjung to do the challenging (up - down) day trip to the Dhaulagiri icefall.
