The place is full of beagles, two goats (one of whom thinks he is a house pet), some tough cats, both mean and nice ducks, and plenty of horses. If your car breaks down on a sub zero night in the middle of nowhere, Carolyn might pick your kids up while you wait for the truck. And all in a setting that could have transported us back in time to the days when this old, but beautifully restored building was still a coaching inn. It is more museum than modern B&B but did still have everything we required for a brief overnight stay. It may no longer be a working farm, but then to change the name of a building is just wrong!
