Truly what you expect in the way of an Inn. Beautiful setting with seating out on the lawns as they sweep down to the water. The cottages have decks which are to be enjoyed, and they also have kitchenettes. The only issue is the TV's are in the bedrooms rather than the sitting areas, otherwise this environmentally sensitive Inn does it right! Well worth the stay. Keep it up! Gather that they close for the season, mid-Oct and reopen mid-May. " More >

The views over the water and the bridge in the distance are spectacular. Off season visitors will have to find dinner in Blue Hill, or elsewhere. In season, look no further than the Whale Rib in the Village of Deer Isle. We stayed in the smaller Orchid Room and the larger suite, across the hall, has a uniquely attractive concept and would work well for a longer stay. Highly recommended. " More >
