  "We stopped at the Historical Boone Tavern Hotel because of the high ratings on Tripadvisor. We were given a "special walk in price" which we appreciated. It was a very hot day and room we were given was very warm (the hallways were cooler). The air conditioner had trouble bringing the temperature do..."wn, so called the front desk. The front desk apologized and immediately sent a bell boy to our room to investigate. As soon as he stepped into the room and felt the temperature he immediately said, "We"ll get you a new room". After relocating us to a bigger more spacious room he said, "We will also give you a discount off the original price for your trouble". The new room was very large with two double beds. The beds and mattresses were very comfortable. The room appointments were very nice. I never have seen a more perfect bathroom. Everything was perfect.
