The El ride was probably 15-20 minutes to downtown. We ate at both of the restaurants and enjoyed it. But upon arrival of our international guest, they would not let her into her room, because I had not filled out an authorization paper ahead of time saying I would be responsible for paying for the room. I was never told this was necessary. I would think that if the hotel personel was booking for a wedding party, they would have shared this piece of information. So as it was, I, the cardholder, was not standing there in the lobby with my card in hand to personally tell them I would be responsible for the bill.
