  "Unfortunately, we only had one night to spend on our way back up from Florida, so we did not enough time to do all the things we would have loved to do. Next time we will stay longer and bring the family! What a beautiful place, the grounds are just immaculate, everything just "flows"! We loved all..." the gorgeous clay pots everywhere and when we got home I found out where I can purchase them. Our room was very large and our bathroom had really nice and big his & her areas, the balcony was large too. The spa is gorgeous, although the staff member at the desk, talking into his little mike as if he is part of the secret service, was a bit much. Every time we moved, he would talk into his mike, saying: "Mr or Mrs X is coming into the area"! Food is good but can't wait to try different options next time. Looking forward to returning! " More >

  "My husband treated me to a stay at The Cloister at Sea Island for my birthday. It was the best birthday ever! We stayed in the main building in a petite suite. From the moment we arrived, when they greeted us by name as they opened our car doors, until we left with a big hug for Bruce the doorm..."an the service was impeccable. Every member of the staff seems intent on making your stay memorable and top-notch. The grounds and architecture are exquisite. The spa, especially the garden atrium, is absolute heaven. It is so relaxing to just absorb the tranquiity and beauty of this special place. I had a reflexology treatment, and my masseuse Ted was excellent. All the furnishings are luxurious. The king bed in our room was so comfortable that we slept until 8:00 a.m. the first morning - really "sleeping in" for us. We enjoyed ice cream over at the Beach Club - fun experience. For my birthday dinner I chose the Italian restaurant Tavola over the more formal Georgian Room. ... " More >
