It was very easy to get to off of the main highway but finding the right entrance to the registration office was a little confusing plus there was not any signage as to which way the traffic goes to each driveway but it was not an issue. When we checked in, we were told it would be a 15 to 20 min. wait even if it was at the correct check in time. The lobby is a little dated but very clean. We walked over to the gift shop area and they had lots of food products that were either made in the area or used there at the property. The other part of the gift shop was a little bit of a let down. Lots of empty displays and shelves which made walking around very crowded.   "Stayed overnight here on way to Metro Atlanta area from Gatlinburg. Didn't look like much, but what a great room. Large, with a sitting area in front of TV. Clean and comfy. Breakfast is minimal, but ok. As others have mentioned, nice view from room balcony."

We had a sliding door out the back of the room to a small patio with 2 rockers which overlooked a lovely horse pasture. Since Dillard House grows a lot of their own fruits and vegetables, I was pleased to see several large cherry trees already full of developing cherries. In another area were several mature apple trees and the vegetable garden had been planted. We ate dinner the first night there and had 2 take-out containers full of leftovers. Sorry to say, I did not take a picture of the table loaded with dishes, but I did get a picture of breakfast the next morning which, again, provided us with 2 takeout containers of leftovers.
