There are good restaurants within walking distance, the dog beach is a 3 minute drive, and the public beaches are close. We felt very safe here. Close to Cocoa Beach and Patrick's AFB.   "As stated in most reviews, these condos are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The balconies are awesome, with a table, four plastic chairs, and two comfy loungers. We stayed on the 2nd floor, which is the first floor of condo units. Our view was slightly obstructed by dunes (lots of ocean in view...", but no sand)- the dunes did provide extra privacy though. Every amenity is available in the units including free long-distance calling to Canada. The decor is sort of 'country cottage.' Lots of comfy seating, and two generous dining areas indoors, plus the balcony seating. A large family could stay in a one-bedroom unit comfortably, and two small families could share a corner unit (the staff let us take a peek- the corner units are amazing). Nice to have two full bathrooms, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. I would recommend this resort to families, and those seeking to relax quietly, but this isn't a great location if you like night-life. We drive down to Florida every March to watch Spring Training baseball. The location is superb (across the street from the beach), and the prices are alw..."ays very affordable. We see the same staff year after year, and are stay is always enjoyable. This year, we found out the hotel was converted to Americas Best Value (although we booked the hotel through Wyndham Rewards 2-3 months prior). Although the hotel may be a touch outdated, we never encounter any problems. My only complaint is the hot tub was not available for use. The pool area is clean. They also have brand new outdoor grills that can be used for cooking. The manager, Mannie Bhar does an excellent job of listening to customer's needs, as I have noticed this over the years. " More >
