  "Love love love this historic hotel!!!!!!!! My hotel room was so big and the view soothing after a long day's work!! The gym OMG!! Loved it!! The staff EXCELLENT!!!!!! At first I didn't like the idea of a "Resort Fee" until I listened about what I would get for the "fee" ...use of the fitness rooms a..."nd unlimited fitness classes, & sauna...& more ...The hotel has water decanters you can fill up and take in your room..I loved it!!! SInce the water is so GREAT there why wouldn't you fill up and have some available. Herbal wrap was amazing and the staff again EXCELLENT!! I felt home away from home!!   "We stayed at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa choosing a 2 day all inclusive spa package. We unintentionally happened to book our stay on Mother's Day weekend, an unusually busy time for this type of business. The entire weekend was nothing short of beyond expectations. This was the experience with any staff member we encountered from the valet when you pulled up to the door upon arrival to the front desk to the housekeeping staff you would pass by in the hallways. We had massages and spa therapy each of the 2 days of our stay. Staff members in these areas were efficient, accomodating and professional. The room was spacious, provided privacy and a feeling of seclusion but not isolated. We did not use any room service. Our stay included daily breakfast and dinner in the dining room. First thing to remember is that it's an old building, and as such it's probably continuously being updated..." and remodeled. If you are expecting a W or Parisian palace hotel, look elsewhere. What you'll find here is a historic building, nicely situated on the bay, not fancy, but clean rooms and bathrooms, common areas with quirky charm, helpful staff, all in a relaxed Florida style. I rate this as "Very Good" for a 3 1/2 star hotel that met all my requirements. IMHO it's much better than staying at some blah chain hotel/motel for the same price. My wife is a black-belt in spa, and she was quite impressed with the size and condition of the spa, her treatments, the classes, and the staff. " More >
