  "We recently stayed here when our old house was having some work done on it for a few days. We know they are a pet friendly motel that gets a lot of business because of that fact. They are constantly busy. The staff works hard to keep everything clean, but some guests are abusive of the pet policy...". Some of the dogs that have stayed there are the size of a small pony! The best thing about the location is that it's only 10 minutes to the coast or 10 minutes to eat in Pea Ridge. This motel is in a much needed location. The motel is actually in Avalon Beach, FL. (We used to live here). Instead of paying higher rates in Escambia County, the rates here are more favorable than across Escambia Bay. Waffle House is next door and there are fuel stations across the street and on the north side of I-10. The better restaurants are within a 10 minute drive from there.
