  "We stayed at Oakwood for 5 nights while on vacation. We opted for Oakwood because the price was better for the week than a hotel plus the location is really great. There are great restaurants in walking distance and the boardwalk and beach are in walking distance too. We had bikes (from local fa..."mily) and they have a place to lock those up so you don't have to haul them to your apartment. They have great amenities and the pool was really clean and inviting. The convenience store on location is great for a few quick things and they really have a great variety of items. We stayed in a one room but we really weren't there very much as we were there to see family and sightsee. I don't think I would have enjoyed that room if I was in the room a lot. We also didn't buy a housekeeping package so you lose some of the hotel feel because you don't have someone coming in to change sheets and provide fresh towels. We ran out of toilet paper.
