  "Once again, it was a pleasure staying at this lovely Best Western in Big Bear. Penny, the hotel manager, gave us a balcony room with a view of the forest, overlooking the pool. This was my traveling companion's first visit to Big Bear and she was really impressed with the cleanliness & comfort of ..."the room and the delicious free breakfasts we received. They'll cook you a veggie omelet or fry some bacon & eggs, whatever you choose. Staff at this hotel is accomodating in every conceivable way.   "We have stayed at the Northwoods Resort in Big Bear before...so when the quick opportunity arose to go for a few days...we grabbed it! Northwoods has it's own restaurant, called Stillwell's, which made it really comfortable to just hang around and eat in the resort. The food is always good and th..."e restaurant nice and clean. The rooms at the Resort are very clean...VERY important to us! There is a small fridge in the room...important for snacks! We especially liked the staff member, NATALIE, who welcomed us when we checked in and was so sweet and helpful! She even put a note on our reservations that we could have the room an extra night for less than the usual room rate since we asked if getting an extra night might be possible when the time came to leave. As it turned out, we weren't able to stay that extra night...but she made it possible if we had been able to.
