  "I have been to many resorts on Margarita Island, and this venue on Coche island is the best resort if travelling to Venezuela. The beaches are safe, clean, wide and beautiful white sands, the water is clear . Plenty of umbrellas/ chair with service. Nice size pool. The sleeping quarters (suites) ..."are clean and good, with private outdoor showers and large LCD TV (satellite). The grounds are remarkable and features a variety of trees/ plants around the complex.Special attention was obviously put into this and it is wonderful to walk around and see the huge variety. The staff is friendly, but service can be better. The island is safe to go around (unlike Margarita island or the mainland). Tours of the island ar nice to see, excursion to snorkeling is mediocre, but to the adjacent Isla Cubagua is a must (1st Venezuelan settlement in early 1500's . Food quality is boring.   "Great service, clean rooms, beautiful white sand beach, very well maintained gardens and the coolest outdoor showers. The resort is made up of small bungalows in small clusters and is situated on one point of the island. There is not much to do at night time as there isnt any real entertainment and ..."the music is very loud and geared toward the younger crowd. We took a bus tour around the island that was great, a few interesting things to see and our tour guide was perfect. We went back to Margarita Island for an all day Jeep Off Roading trip and that was well worth the time and inexpensive. That all being said, this resort didn`t disappoint us and we had a wonderful relaxing holiday!! " More >

  "I stayed at this resort for 2 nights during a stay on Margarita Island at the end of February: The service was great, the room was clean and the outdoor shower was a very nice change from the norm. The price was quite reasonable too. The food was always good - I could always find something I ..."enjoyed and I think I even gained a couple of pounds while I was there. The music at the bar at night wasn't my bag but I was entertained. The beer was cold and always available and I tried some of the cocktails and enjoyed them all. The biggest attraction for me on Coche is the beautiful white sand beach. It was never very crowded - you could walk 30 yards away from the resort and have the place to yourself if you wanted to. The bungalows are numbered kind of randomly, and because they all look alike, it took a little while to get to find my way back and forth (copious amounts of alcohol didn't help). I would like to go back to Coche for a week or more next time and take the time ... " More >
