The gardener even made a kite by hand for our son on Dia de los Muertos, just like the local children had. A cook and a masseuse were available, but we opted to make our own meals and used that part of our budget for local art and textiles instead. Casa Tzampoc is in what we considered to be the best location around the lake: close enough to Panajachel for convenience, but far enough removed for solitude away from the tourist crowds.
