A few restaurants are within walking distance. After a night's good sleep we greatly appreciated the generous breakfast in the motel's restaurant located in its conference center. The bed and breakfast is tastefully appointed with wonderful "down home" decorations throughout the home. Maggie is a delightful cook and pastry chef--her breakfasts' were amazing! Nestled on the side of a mountain, the river is only about 40 feet below and a wonderful sound to listen to with the cabin windows open while star gazing!   "Have grown up camping at Christopher Creek and our stay as an adult in the lodge was absolutely amazing!!! We came up for our anniversary and the cabin was Very cozy, plenty of space (we stayed in one of the fishermans cabins). All the cooking amenities are in the cabin so you can cook if you want...." Our back porch of the cabin, unit #6 was facing the creek with a wonderful view. You can hear the creek bubbling at night, just enough for a dreamy sleep! Weather was nice during day and fire worthy at night. Check-in was effortless and staff was extremely friendly. No noisy drunk neighbors either, which is a plus.
