Alcove, I believe is one the very few resorts in North Goa which have a beach front prop..."erty. Also, it's located on a small hill overlooking the ocean, making it unique. It almost has a private beach, because of the rocks around the beach which means that the crowds stay away. Being on a hill gives you a vantage point to watch the expanse of the ocean and also to see some beautiful sunsets (which obviously we missed due to the hovering clouds). The staff was real friendly, especially the hotel manager, Joaquim (very helpful and honest person). If you do go to Alcove, plan to stay in the wooden chalets.
