Pool area is great and it's also right on the beach. Food far better than expected - plenty of choice and lots of fresh, local food with Italian cuisine too.   "This was our third visit to what we call "paradise island" & we were`nt dissapointed on our return.We had a room at the back of the hotel as on previous visits we did notice these rooms get the sun & none of the noise the sea views seem to get from the harbour at night, ok not a great view but inter..."esting watching the rabbits & birds especially when the man with the falcon visited.The transfer over is by ferry a short walk from the bus station but so well organised,you don`t see your luggage until it appears in the foyer.The weather was mixed but dined on the terrace for breakfast & dinner a couple of times,food is very good,plenty of choice,even a "picky" eater wiould be able to find something,both morning & evening.Porec is lovely with lots of cobbled streets to explore & lots of history ,although a modern marina with expensive boats & yachts is nice to stroll round.A little train runs in both directions although it is a nice walk through the trees to see different views along the co...   "I spent 10 days in this hotel which is situated on a beautiful island. I cannot fault any of the staff especially the restaurant and housekeeping staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was good especially the Croatian Istria themed night, which was wonderful. The town of Porec is only a ..."5 minute boat ride but try to plan times in advance as the boat comes every half an hour. The rooms are basic but comfortable, overall me and my family had a lovely stay. I would definitely return to Croatia in the future. Thank you Hotel fortuna! " More >
