Fifth, the pool is gigantic and beautifully maintained. Sixth, the beach is gorgeous....you can walk for many kilometers in either direction and not see another person.   "Me and my wife spent 2.5 days at Txai resort the past weekend. We had one of the bungalows up on the hill, the room is very spacious, huge bathroom (the showers on an open area are a nice touch), good bedroom (bed is very confortable) and nice balcony with two good lounge chairs. The room is a s..."hort walk from both the spa and the pool/beach area. Everything was super clean and put together twice a day. The food is really good throughout. Breakfast is a nice buffet with lots of local breads / cakes, great juices and they'll cook your eggs and tapioca (a local specialty) to order on the spot. Lunch is on the pool restaurant, we had a great meal one day with a typical Bahia dish that was one of the better I've had in a local time. Dinner is in the main restaurant on a more formal setting, with a menu that for the most part changes daily and was savory every time.
