We stayed on the second floor on the back side and found it to be very quiet (there weren't many other guests on the ..."upper floor) but there is no elevator for anyone who has mobility issues - not a problem for us and I would rather be above others than having people over my head. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is small which could be a problem if the hotel was busy but didn't affect us. There was a good selection of foods for the continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. " More >

  "This is an Awesome little gem. With plans to take the ferry to the San Juan's we drove to the ferry entrance to double check where and how to board early the next morning. We found the entrance then were headed back to Anacortes to find a motel for the night. My wife suggest we check out Ship Harbor..." Inn, which I was a little hesitant as you could see from the road it was under remodel. This was one of those times that you get pleasantly surprised. This not only has a wonderful view of the harbor, but also an easy 10 minute walk to the ferry. The owner welcomed us with open arms and reminded us of meeting your favorite Aunt and staying in her home for the weekend. She showed us two different rooms which both were awesome with great views of the harbor. When we said we'd take one she upgraded us to another larger room with a spa tub for the same price.   "Lovely old home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and pretty. Matt greeted us as we arrived and treated us more like family than just visitors. We spent 3 1/2 days there so that we could get to the San Juans easily. The inn is only about 10 minutes from the ferry so it was a perfect location...".
