  "We arrived in Vladivostok early in the morning and there were no rooms available. The receptionist Ana, suggested we tour the city and in a few hours our room would be ready. She provided us with excellent directions and her English was really good. We followed her advice which was spot on. She advi..."sed us to take the bus to Russian Island which was a nice trip to see Vladisvostok for 34 rubles for return ticket and you go over the two suspension bridges. We then stopped off at the Funicular bus stop and took the Funicular to the bottom. 8 rubles. We then walked to the S56 submarine and had fun inside. 100 rubles. We also spent time at the war memorial. We walked to the main square, then to the train station to take a photo of 9288 km sign. We walked back to our hotel which is 5 minutes from the train station.
