  "This is a brand new beautiful resort on a bay of the Pacific Ocean. The beach is wide, clean and sandy. Our one bedroom was actually a suite with a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath. There was a balcony, too. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you would need for cooking. The furniture is ..."very comfortable. There is a wide sandy beach and pools. The children's pool is extra-large. There are four restaurants to choose from. You need to make a reservation for dinner by 5 PM. We have only two complaints: the water in the shower does not get hot, but is warm enough to use and the music from the pool area begins at 6 AM and gets louder throughout the day. " More >

  "Lovely relaxing stay"
  "Got my boyfriend a trip out of the city for his birthday and it was money well spent! I paid about $79pp for one night, but we got free late check out (very much worth it) included in a promotion. Although the site states you cannot check in until 2pm we arrived much earlier than expected, at 12pm, ..."and the friendly reception staff allowed us to check in at that time anyway, at no extra cost. I even chanced my arm and asked for a sea view room, and they obliged us!! Very taken aback at this because after living in Panama for a few months we are not used to such accommodating staff! The room was lovely, very big with a comfortable bed and the view was beautiful. The drinks that were included in the price even included cocktails, which were not half bad, especially those at the bar that was in the pool (another great feature of the hotel). The food was nice, fresh, and better than we expected. Not a great choice for us vegetarians but better than most places in Panama. We treated ourselve... " More >

  "First time in Panama"
  "Went to Royal Decameron and stayed for 10 days from Apr. 29 to May 09, 2013. We just got lucky for having a good weather and a nice oceanview room. Our flight went well from Toronto to our destination and the staff were pretty much well organized except that most of them only speak Spanish. We like ..."the place for it's natural beauty, big trees, the ocean and nice breeze ,especially during night time, but for people with difficulty walking and climbing hill will be an issue. We start our day walking on the beach with early morning sunshine but beach is not really ideal for swimming especially for families with kids. Fruits like mangoes, papaya, banana and pineapple taste really good but I consider their food too salty. Ala cart is a good alternative for buffet at dinner time especially cafe med and kontiki situated close to the beach and swimming pool. Panama canal and city tour is a nice place to see. Me and my wife had a good time and consider going back next time. " More >
