  "My wife and I have just returned from an amazing week at the Long Beach resort. I will attempt to be as comprehensive as possible with regards to my review. The property itself is amazing and the decor/layout is one of the best I have seen globally. It is very elegant, great pools, amazing beach, top class restaurants and classy bars. The elegance also extends to the rooms, with nice bathrooms, refreshing interiors and comfortable beds. We were on an all-inclusive package, which I personally believe is a must in this resort. Some of the prices for food and drinks were extremely high, although we were able to relax and indulge and not worry about prices. The hotel was perfect for each of us, from 70 year old grandparents to the youngest grandchild age 3. The Lux Belle Mare feels to have larger grounds than many of the surrounding resorts and as a result one never feels crowded by the neighbours. There is enough space for everyone. Enough loungers at the beach and at the pool for each person to have their spot of choice each day. The pool is huge and easily accommodates children and water aerobics. The beach really is paradise (azure waters and white sands fringed by tropical palm trees). There is also enough beach to take a reasonable half hour walk in either direction along the waters edge.   "We went to Ambre April 2013 and it was fantastic! The weather was wonderful, the resort was clean & organised. The day we arrived was absolutlely amazing, when we walked into the reception area at the resort it felt like we'd entered paradise! We took the 'All Inclusive' package and I would suggest..." you take this option - especially if you have kids (it costs a little extra before you leave on your trip but its value for money - definitely the way to go)! We went on the Under Sea Walk, also a fantastic experience - the hotel will arrange this for you! Our rooms were clean, modern and had everything we need. We had adoining rooms a 5 minute walk from the reception/entertainment area and this worked well for us. We had a sea facing, ground floor room. We would definitley go back to Ambre! " More >
