Went to see the fireflies in Ibok (reception staffs can help arrange this for you...beautiful sights at night) We..."nt horse riding at the endurance stable/club (5 mins drive from the hotel). riding by the beach was simply a relaxing experience so you might wanna try this too. the beach is within walking distance but the waves are rather strong, so unless you're a strong swimmer, avoid taking a dip here. didn't get to try the swimming pool although i do have issues with people looking at the swimmers (rather uncomfortable if you're a woman).. this is an oil and gas industrial area so newbies in this town might be a little lost or puzzled as to where to go. the resort management has a list of activities for you to join, so plan properly as to how you want to spend your time here other than relaxing ... It might be a bit 'aged', but they make it up with the friendly service, charming character and super comfortable environment. Their central location in the heart of the state of Terengganu makes it easy for us to venture around the state without relocating our sleeping venue. I was quite surprised to see a good number of expat community there. We also enjoyed the serenity, great food (awesome awesome food) and beautiful matured landscape surrounding the resort. I probably guess that the trees there could be around more than 50 years old or so. And since its a villa with 3 rooms, a kitchenette with a washing machine & dryer, we settled in easy and feel right at home with all the necessary mod-cons.
