The hotel itself has good accommodations for guests. The rooms are definitely bigger than others that I have stayed in. I wish they had one queen or king size bed in a room. I have two double beds and only need one. The carpet in y room is definitely stained but for the most part it's clean. Housekeeping is ok, but I put a sign on my room at 7am for them to clean it but when I came back at 4:30pm they were in my room so it was a little awkward and I had work to do. I don't speak a lick of Japanese, so if you are uncomfortable with another language being spoke around you or to you this is probably not the hotel to go to. They have a good selection of board games, DVDs etc. things you can borrow, the breakfast buffet is quite nice and the rooms are huge. The downside of this hotel is its location. Unless you're self-driving, you need to take taxis or walk and you'll be quite far away from most places of interest. We were initially planning on renting a motorcycle but couldn't (since we didn't have an international driver's license), so we ended up just going to the American village a couple of times and taking shorts walks in the surrounding area.
