I had to stay on Hotel Tokugawa for 2 days due to my important business meeting. For me it is one of the beautiful hotel in Nikko. I had booked a room in the second floor to enjoy some great view of the city. When I arrived it was morning so I was really hungry, I was surprised to see the ready made fresh breakfast served in the room. The room looked quite fresh and decorated. They have nice outdoor shower and bath. But I feel they are really high in the rooms charge. The food quality was nice.   "Located across Nikko train station. The hotel looks like it has been recently redecorated and I mean that in a positive way. It looks modern an the room has nice atmosphere. Slightly bigger rooms than normal for Japanese standards. The bed was comfortable (nice and soft) and good size for 2 people. ..."Huge TV and 2 chairs with small table. Refrigerator. Nice bathroom, we have seen smaller during our trip. The room and bathroom were very clean. The greatest plus of this hotel was the bath house (women and men separated). The baths also look new, all grey marble and clean. Traditional showers with low stool and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are available. There are two small baths (hot and a little less hot :)) inside and a bigger bath outside. It is great to relax here after a day of wandering around the famous shrines.
