This hotel however was the first one I've stayed in with a loft bed and a regular bed, AND didn't charge per person (they charged per room). The staff at the counter are not English speakers, but they are very polite and accommodating and will do their best to explain (some Japanese-speaking on your part would go a long way too). There are some English written explanations they have available as well. The bathroom was impeccably clean, and the room came with all the essentials we needed. The door is opened by a combination rather than a key, so checking out is incredibly easy. The free breakfast was nice (not just bread) and during breakfast hours one of their drink machines was free.
