  "We loved Big Cave Camp with its incredible approach over huge slabs of rock.. and were made most welcome by Sam, Roy and Lin and the rest of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, our rooms were very comfortable with seriously stunning views out to the magical Matopos hills with the huge kopjies,..." trees and almost spiritual feel. This is where so much of the heart of Zimbabwe lies.. from the Bushman paintings/art thru the colonial era to modern day Zimbabwe. We tracked rhinos with Sam, clambered over kopjies round Big Cave on the morning walk guided by Roy, gazed incredulously at the carefully balanced boulders, silenced by the grave of Cecil Rhodes and the Shangaan Memorial.. Big Cave offers so much from total relaxation by the pool, to sitting on one's balcony, enjoying the sumptuous food - we were so impressed by the knowledge of Roy and Sam.
