The hotel slopes gently down to an extensive beach which is very quiet and is only used by the residents of the hotel. The addition of an iPod with soothing music greets you as you enter. The public areas are equally exquisite with separate reception, library, spa, gym, restaurants and bar area. Many of the bungalows have their own private pools while the main complex comprises of a 50m infinity pool, and two other pools all tiered and leading down to the ocean front. The hotel occupies extensive manicured gardens very carefully maintained to a high standard.   "In some ways I do not want to say how lovely the hotel and town were as I don't want hordes of tourists to visit and spoil the charm but I think that Hoi An is a magical town. We stayed for 4 nights at the Victoria along with my teenage twins, their friend and our friends who were on their honeym..."oon. After many, many hours of surfing through hotel websites, I finally chose the Victoria and I was delighted with the outcome. Our friends room was beautifully decorated for them with a special honeymoon arrangement on the bed. The service everwhere was faultless. The hotel was spotless. The breakfast was amazing. Our rooms were totally spectacular and the oudoor shower was such a lovely experience. Hoi An is beautiful! At night when all the lanterns are lit the place is like fairy land. The restaurants were all superb with a huge variety of different cuisine. Lots of lovely shops to browse around and cheap taxis to return you to the hotel.
