  "My husband and myself stayed at the Baia Lara from 2/6 - 16/6 2013, first impressions of the reception was amazing ( no welcome drink, but it was 1am ) we were quickly dealt with by a very friendly male receptionist, who gave directions to our room on the fourth floor, first impressions was a lovely..." reasonable sized room, with a very large bed and a single bed, nice bathroom with bath/shower however upon on opening the balcony curtains we were greeted by barren wast land between our hotel and the next with dogs continually barking, no real sea view which we had requested, this was classed as just a request which may or not be granted at the hotels discretion, we contacted reception but were told as it was very late to come back at 10 in the morning, which we did, we were told that the only rooms available was a room on the second floor but with no balcony ( free of extra charge) the other was a family room which ticked all the boxes but came with a hefty additional price increment of 3...   "Great slides for kids and adults. So much family fun to be had! Recommended for children no older than 10!! ( smaller slides and fun for under 5's in a separate pool) Lazy river more for canoes which were great! Kids LOVED the fair but small suitable under 10's. Play parks again for younger kids. Tr..."ampolines and wave pool ( a bit boring but supervised!) All with time slots throughout day! Pool staff great with kids, learning their names.On the beach, nice and clean with bar. Football net and volley ball. All bars serve little bottles of water and mini bar in fridge is filled daily with beer, pop and water. General noise of inconsiderate fools returning from bar but same anywhere! Carpets reduced stomping noises etc! BEDS HARD!!!! That is my ONLY moan with the holiday! Food good especially in the beach restaurant at lunch and italian a la carte but could only visit latter once a week. Would go again if it moved to Egypt!!!!!!!
