There is a sandwich bar on the beach which is ok if you just want a snack but the outdoor lunch area is much better, salad/pizza hot food. The bars were quite quiet as it was the start of the season, the drinks are all local and the quality of cocktails depends on who is serving, beer is served in small (330ml?) glasses rather than pints so a bit different to what some may be used to. Inside the hotel the First Choice staff were on hand to ease the checking in process and to introduce themselves and there was even entertainment to keep the children entertained. The hotel was spotless and in excellent condition, don't pay any attention to the reviews that say it is run down, this is just ridiculous. We had paid extra for a Kids Den Family room, as cots did not fit in the standard room. Normally I would not do this, but having stayed in that room I was so impressed I will definitely pay the extra in future.
